Totem Pole Journey at Lummi Tribal Center

The Tribal Center will be open from 8:30 to 11:30 and the Blessing is at 9:30 am

Join our UU congregation in Bellingham and friends of faith and environment at the Bellingham send off of this journey.  Help to bless the totem pole and stand with native peoples for the protection of sacred lands, and treaty rights, including their own ancestral village and treaty fishing waters at Cherry Point.  Cherry Point is the site of a proposed massive coal port. The event will include speakers, blessing songs, and ceremony, including an opportunity to touch the totem pole and give your own personal blessing.
