Database & event coordinator needed now ~100 hrs

Media_at_Video_Conference_600_px.jpgA much simpler event than the one pictured but important to justice in this state. A chance to do  well while doing good with Unitarian Universalist Voices for Justice. Contract starts immediately. We need someone with administrative skills. Key tasks are updating a database and preparing for an on-line conference.

Work from your home. Contract begins Sept 10 and ends Nov. 13, 2015. We expect it will take about 100 hours. Please send resume and contract requirements to coordinator@uuvoiceswa.org.

Tasks include

  • Updating database and doing some reorganizing

  • Working with congregations to ensure  that congregations have what they need to provide the room and the hardware for the Legislative Conference

  • Creating, posting and distributing promotional materials, using MS Publisher or other simple design software.

  • Simple edits to videos of interviews with activists, legislators and scholars, Use your own software or on-line software

  • Running the conferencing software the day of the event using Zoom.

 

Depending on funding the contract may be extended to prepare for the legislative session.

We  lobby for Unitarian Universalist values in the state legislature and represent UU values in state governance. Depending on funding, the contract may be extended to prepare for the legislative session.
